Associated Credit Union Foundation donates thousands of school supplies for back-to-school drive

Associated Credit Union employees and members donated more than 3,600 school supplies for a back-to-school drive that benefits students in need. The Associated Credit Union Foundation helped organize and collect the donations for the seventh annual Back-to-School Drive during June and July.

“We believe every child should start their school year equipped with the supplies they need to succeed,” said Member Relations Senior Vice President Heiwote Tadesse. “We’re so grateful to our employees and members for their continuous generous contributions that help support our community.”

Associated Credit Union employees delivered the supplies, which included bookbags, colored pencils, crayons, folders, notebooks, glue sticks, pencils, pens, rulers and more to Child Enrichment in Augusta, Quinn House in Lawrenceville and Wilderness Works in Atlanta.

The Associated Credit Union Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, helps employees and members give back to local organizations. Associated Credit Union, a $2 billion financial institution that serves more than 155,000 members at 22 locations in Atlanta, Augusta, Carrollton and Dawsonville, offers member financial products that fulfill their needs, service that exceeds their expectations and relationships that inspire their trust.
