Shannon Leigh Studios is a nationally-recognized baby and child photographer located in Lawrenceville, GA serving the metro-Atlanta area as well as Roswell, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs and Johns Creek. She’s been named one of the top ten newborn photographer's in the WORLD by Top Ten Magazine, featured on the cover of Model Life Magazine and Baby Model Magazine. We have been featured inside Mozi Magazine, Gwinnett Magazine, Woman's Day Magazine as well as Chic Magazine and named one of the top newborn photographers in Athens by Expertise.com 2016, 2017 and 2018. She has also been voted Best of Gwinnett in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

My hubby and I run our business full time and we love every minute of it!! We have two handsome boys that are all grown up. We know how important it is to capture every moment because it flies by so fast!!

Before we started our business I was a preschool teacher in Gwinnett County for 13 years. I chose this profession so that I could be near my boys as they grew up until they started elementary school. I believe this was the stepping stone for my career as a child photographer. I learned a lot about children and babies!!
Once I decided that I wanted to start my photography business I went full steam ahead! I took every workshop I could, mentored with the best in the newborn industry and opened my first studio 7 years ago. A small, 400 square foot, space that was perfect for my needs at that time. My business took off very quickly and its been growing ever since. Thank the stars above!!

Now my husband, Shawn, and I work full time together in our 1700 square foot Lawrenceville, Georgia studio. We do over 300 babies a year and are constantly growing and changing. Not only is Shawn good with the babies he’s also very handy and together we’ve built the studio of my dreams. We are both creative people and when we put our minds together we come up with some pretty amazing ideas.
